AirAsia X to Launch Quiet Zone – Child Free Cabin on A330 from Feb 2013 Posted: 27 Jul 2012 03:00 AM PDT Update at 1000GMT 27JUL12 Followed by the controversial decision by Malaysia Airlines introducing “child-free cabin” on Business Class and A380 Upper Deck Economy Class, AirAsia X has announced it’ll be launching “Quiet Zone” on its Airbus A330 fleet, starting Feb 2013. Row 7 to 14 (first 7 rows of Economy Economy) is designated as “Quiet Zone”, which features: *Minimal noise with no disturbances *Strategically located right behind the Premium Seats *Special ambience lighting Passengers with children travelling that are age 12 and under (including infants), will not be able to book seats in the Quiet Zone.
