As per 09MAR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Alitalia has postponed planned service launch on Rome – Riyadh and Rome – Tbilisi service till 01JUL12. Previously Tbilisi was to start from 05MAY12 and Riyadh from 01JUN12. Effective 25MAR12, Austrian is reducing operation on Vienna – Beijing route, where it is reducing from Daily to 5 weekly during Summer season. Based on Star Alliance schedule listing as well as the OAG, this is the first time since 2006 that OS is cutting flights to Beijing during Summer season. The reduction of this service is due to slot issues at Beijing Airport.
