The airline previously planned to start this service in late-December 2011, but this apparently did not went ahead. airberlin starting 05JUN12 will launch service to Kaliningrad, offering 3 weekly flights on Berlin Brandenburg – Kaliningrad on board Dash8-Q400 aircraft. Service will increase to 4 weekly starting 15SEP12. Russian carrier KD Avia last operated service between the two cities on 27SEP09. As per 13APR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Uzbekistan Airways plans to increase capacity to Summer 2011 level on Tashkent – Tokyo Narita service. From 18JUL12 to 26SEP12, the airline plans to operate 2nd weekly service with Boeing 767 instead of Boeing 757. In Summer 2011, Uzbekistan Airways operated twice weekly 767 service from late-March to late-October 2011. At time this post goes to press, Wednesdays operation (2nd weekly flight) is not available for reservation. Garuda Indonesia’s low-cost subsidiary Citilink plans to increase services on domestic routes starting July 2012. The airline has outlined planned frequency increases but did not say when in July they will be in effect.
