On July 6, 1987, Emirates inaugurated Dubai – London Gatwick on board Airbus A310 aircraft. The airline then started service to London Heathrow in July 1991. PLUNA Ceases Operation from 06JUL12 Posted: 05 Jul 2012 07:05 PM PDT Update at 0205GMT 06JUL12 Uruguay’s PLUNA on the evening of 05JUL12 (local time) announced ceasing operation (although it claims “suspended indefinitely”) after the Government has failed to find new investors, starting 1500GMT on Friday 06JUL12.
