As per 13JUN11 GDS timetable display, DELTA has reversed its decision and is to operate 2 Daily service on Atlanta – Paris CDG service for Winter 2011/12 season, effective 30OCT11, instead of 1 Daily.
At time this post goes to press, although AIRFRANCE is display this route operating twice a day, but this is set to reduce to just 1 Daily, same level as Winter 2010/11. Reservation for 2nd AF flight (AF689/688) is to be closed soon and remove from the system, unless further adjustment is made.

Canadian carrier Exploit Valley Air Services (EVAS) on 05JUN11 has launched Sundays-only, seasonal service on Gander – Goose Bay – Iqaluit route, offering new air link between Canada’s Province of New Foudland and Nunavut (Territory) since 2003. Pending on the performance of this route, this may become a year-round route.
EVAS in general operates service for Air Canada (Tier III Carrier) in New Foundland, but this route will be independently operated.
18-seater Beechcraft 1900D aircraft operates this service. According to the airline’s website, one-way fare is CAD995+HST, round-trip CAD1750+HST.

The airline will launch NEW Daily service to Chengdu and Chongqing from September 2011. It is also ending scheduled charter service to Kota Kinabalu, and shifts the capacity to Manzhouli, becoming the only carrier to offer service between Hong Kong and inner-Mongolia.

Senegal Airlines starting the week of 25JUL11 is introducing 4 new destinations – Cotonou, Douala, Libreville and Praia. Except Praia being a nonstop flight, the other new destinations operate via Abidjan with local traffic rights.

airTran starting 06SEP11 is terminating its codeshare agreement with Skywest, as a result of the recent acquisition of airTran by Southwest Airlines.
Skywest operating routes out of Milwaukee, only Akron/Canton and Des Moines will be kept, with each operating 2 Daily service with Boeing 717. Existing service to Indianapolis, Omaha, Pittsburgh and St. Louis, will be canceled. These routes currently operates twice a day.
