Turkish Airlines from 18JUL11 is increasing Istanbul Ataturk – Tabriz service from 5 weekly to Daily.
The Star Alliance member also operates 5 weekly to Mashad, 14 weekly to Tehran, and 4 weekly to Shiraz, offering a total of 30 weekly to Iran.

China Eastern this month (July 2011) is launching 2 new short-haul International routes.
The Skyteam member from 04JUL11 is launching 2 weekly Yancheng – Seoul Incheon service on board Airbus A320, its 11th Chinese city to Seoul. Also, the airline is starting Xi’An – Phuket charter service with Airbus A320 as well.

As per 04JUL11 GDS timetable display, Air China from 01AUG11 will restore reduced capacity on Beijing – Tokyo Narita service.
CA925/926 from that date will be operated by Boeing 777-200 once again, replacing 737-800, which has been operating instead of the widebody jet since March Earthquake. Overall capacity offered on this route will be close to pre-Earthquake level.

AS per 04JUL11 GDS inventory display, AEROFLOT from 02SEP11 to 29OCT11 is increasing Moscow Sheremetyevo – Beijing service from 14 to 16 weekly.
The Skyteam member has been planning the service increase since earlier this year. The 2 extra weekly flights, SU569/570, is now accepting reservations.

Lufthansa starting 30OCT11 is introducing 5th Daily Frankfurt – Copenhagen service. The new flight offers late-morning departure from Frankfurt and mid-morning from Copenhagen.

On Monday’s (04JUL11) Boeing 787 Media Event at Tokyo Haneda Airport, ANA CEO Shinichiro Ito has revealed its First Boeing 787 Commercial service will be either Tokyo Haneda – Hiroshima or Tokyo Haneda – Okayama.
Boeing plans to deliver the First 787 to the Star Alliance member in August and September time frame.
