Lufthansa has started codesharing on Austrian’s service on Vienna – Baghdad service, as the latter launched this route in June 2011.
LH previously planned to launch its own operation to Baghdad with Munich – Baghdad route, however this has been postponed and tentative date for the route launch remains unavailable.

Air Arabia today (11JUL11) announced it is launching 4 weekly Sharjah – Gassim service, its 5th destination in Saudi Arabia, starting 15JUL11.
Airbus A320 aircraft operates this route. Schedule:

As per 11JUL11 GDS timetable display, QATAR Airways during the month of August 2011 is temporary restoring capacity to Japan, with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft operating Daily Doha – Osaka – Tokyo Narita service.
This route switched to smaller Airbus A330-200 due to drop of demand earlier this year, after March Earthquake. The A330 is currently scheduled to operate in Sep/Oct 2011, and to return to 777 from the launch of Winter schedule.

Jin Air starting 15JUL11 is adjusting operational schedule on its Daily Seoul Incheon – Bangkok route. Mondays and Fridays operation will move to afternoon departure from Seoul and red-eye hours from Bangkok.

Sendai Airport on 25JUL11 will reopen traffic to scheduled Domestic and International service.
On International flights, Japan’s MLIT has approved temporary service by Star Alliance member carriers for the month of July 2011, which Continental to operate 3 Guam – Sendai service and ASIANA operates 2 Seoul Incheon – Sendai flights.
