TACA starting 05AUG11 is launching 3 weekly San Salvador – Havana service, on board Airbus A320 series aircraft. It currently offers 6 weekly from Lima, 3 weekly from San Jose (Costa Rica).

JetStar Asia is continuing its expansion throughout Asia, with major service increases starting August 2011.
In August and September 2011, it’ll increase service to Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Denpasar. Service increase to Taipei has been reported previously (See post on 16JUN11). For new destinations, the airline is adding new flight to Hanoi from mid-December 2011, in addition to Ningbo (see post on 06JUL11) and Beijing (see post on 13JUL11)

TACV Cabo Verde Airlines starting Sunday (17JUL11) is starting service to Italy, with Sunday-only flight on Ilha do Sal – Milan Bergamo – Rome – Ilha do Sal triangle routing, on board Boeing 757 aircraft.

Starting 04AUG11, Gulf Air is introducing 6th weekly frequency on Bahrain – Addis Ababa route, operating on Saturdays.
The Gulf carrier plans to increase service to Daily from 30OCT11, reported on this site few weeks ago.

As per 15JUL11 GDS timetable display, Air Pacific is to increase capacity on Nadi – Christmas Island – Honolulu weekly service, with Boeing 737-800 operating instead of -700.
This capacity increase to Kiribati was originally to be in effect during the month of August 2011, but this is now postponed till the month of September 2011, from 06SEP11 to 28SEP11.

CSA Czech Airlines from 30OCT11 is canceling its Daily service on Prague – Tel Aviv route. From the same date, Smartwings will replace CSA and offers 2 Daily flights on this route, on board Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

As per 15JUL11 GDS inventory display, China Southern Airlines is introducing new fleet type, Embraer E190 aircraft (configuration F6Y92), to its operation, starting August 2011.
Initially the E190 will be based in Urumqi, the main hub for Xinjiang branch. Currently, the Skyteam member is displaying E190 operation begins from 15AUG11, until 31AUG11, Schedule after 01SEP11 is pending.
Planned operational routes as of 15JUL11, subject to change, as follows:

As per 14JUL11 GDS inventory display, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has further adjusted initial Summer 2012 operation, effective 25MAR12.
Brand new 294-seater Airbus A330-300 (C30Y264) will be introduced starting March 2012, which the Skyteam member has 4 on order.
