CIT Aerospace has signed a formal purchase agreement with Airbus for the 50 A320neo-family aircraft for which it signed a memorandum of understanding at the 49th Le Bourget airshow on June 21, 2011.

Designed by architect Nobutaka Ashihara, the building will rise to a height of 752 feet, 9 inches. According to Marriott International, this will make it the tallest stand-alone hotel building (without office or residential space) in New York.

Deliveries of the new Boeing 777-300ERs are scheduled to begin in Singapore Airlines' 2013-14 financial year. The new aircraft will join 19 Boeing 777-300ERs already in service with SIA.

Boeing has delivered the 100th 737 outfitted with the Boeing Sky Interior to GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes. The 737-800 was also delivered with CFM56-7BE "Performance Improvement" engines, making GOL the first airline in Latin America to receive the improved engines.

The order makes Garuda Indonesia a new A320-family customer and covers 15 standard A320s and 10 A320neos for operation by the carrier's low-cost unit Citilink. The airline will announce its engine selection for the aircraft in the near future, according to Airbus.
