The airline was operating twice weekly Islamabad – Abu Dhabi – Istanbul route with Airbus A310. The airline starting today will maintain its presence via codesharing on Turkish Airlines’ 3 weekly Islamabad – Istanbul service, which begins today. Planned service increase from 10 to 14 weekly on this route was originally planned from 27MAR11, but was postponed till 30OCT11 due to March Earthquake. The Star Alliance carrier is now scaling back the increase back to just 11 weekly. Despite this remains an overall year-on-year increase, but still considered a reduction.
