American Airlines says it is the first North American carrier to offer in-flight streaming video, which enables customers to stream content such as movies and TV shows wirelessly from an inflight library to select types of Wi-Fi-enabled laptops during flights.

American Eagle will operate 12 round-trip flights per week on the route and its service is scheduled to begin on November 17. Eagle will operate the service with 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 regional jets.
