As per 02AUG11 GDS timetable display, Royal Jordanian PLANS to launch new service to Nigeria, with 2 weekly Amman – Lagos service on board Airbus A330-200 aircraft starting 02NOV11
Note the reservation for this route is currently not available, but they are currently loaded in timetable search in both Amadeus and Sabre GDS.

Austrian in Winter 2011/12 season is adjusting operational frequencies to Amman and Damascus. For Amman, selected period sees overall reduction compared to W10.
Service to Damascus sees overall reduction owing to instability since earlier this year.

Japan’s Fuji Dream Airlines yesterday (01AUG11) converted 2 routes to scheduled operation. The Japanese carrier is offering Daily each on Nagoya Komaki – Aomori and Nagoya Komaki – Hanamaki route, on board Embraer E170 aircraft.
These routes were launched on 02JUL11 and 21MAY11 respectively as part of post-Earthquake relief campaign. The airline says in a press statement that load factor for these routes are above 60% as of late-July 2011.

Tiger Airways starting 01NOV11 is starting 3 weekly Singapore – Davao service on board Airbus A320 aircraft. Currently, only Silk Air offers this route 5 times a week.

As per 02AUG11 GDS timetable and inventory display, TAAG Angola once again postponed Luanda – Beijing NONSTOP service resumption.
The service, due to resume today (02AUG11), is now postponed till 30AUG11. Also, the airline will only sell Business and Economy Class on the Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Schedule:

Lufthansa from 05NOV11 is launching weekend service on Frankfurt – Klagenfurt route, on board Embraer E190 aircraft by CityLine.
Service on Saturdays operate in the morning hours and Sundays sees evening flight, offering flexible schedule for weekend getaways. Schedule:

As per 02AUG11 Sabre timetable display, China Airlines starting 31OCT11 is launching service between Taiwan and China’s Hainan Island, offering 3 weekly service to Haikou and 2 weekly to Sanya.
Reservation is currently not available but should be available as early as this week.

ASIANA AIRLINES has announced it’ll resume Seoul Incheon – Sendai scheduled service from 25SEP11. Service operates 3 times a week with Airbus A320. This route was operating on daily basis prior to March Earthquake.
The Star Alliance member in the press statement says Sendai was the airline’s very first International service as charter flight on 23DEC89, which converted to scheduled service on 06APR90, becoming the first scheduled International service for Sendai Airport.
