bmi continues A330 operation to Freetown, Sierra Leone in W11 Posted: 23 May 2011 01:14 AM PDT As per 23MAY11 GDS timetable display, bmi (british midland international) is continuing 3 weekly Airbus A330-200 operation on London Heathrow – Freetown service into Winter 2011/12 season, effective 30OCT11. Previously GDS display was showing 4 weekly 1-stop Airbus A321 service. The Star Alliance member is poised to introduce A330 service on this route from 26JUN11, previously reported on this site. From 30OCT11, the Skyteam member operates 1 Daily Boeing 747-400 aircraft, instead of 2 Daily Boeing 777-200ER. With the change, First Class(La Premiere) and Premium Voyageur class service will not be offered. Lufthansa plans W11 Munich – Cairo Capacity Increase Posted: 23 May 2011 12:01 AM PDT Lufthansa starting 30OCT11 is introducing Airbus A321 (C38Y147) aircraft on Munich – Cairo service, which replaces PrivatAir Boeing 737-800 (C32Y60) aircraft. Overall frequency will also be reduced from 4 to 3 weekly. However, overall capacity will see increase with 555 weekly seats (one-way) offered, compared to current 368 per week. Schedule: |
